My Samsung 172x came in last night and it's great. The text is very sharp, and it's still on an analog connection. I'm still on a P3 933 and going to do an upgrade in the next 30-60 days including a 9800 pro or X800.
I only have a few games and I popped in ST Armada and it looks like crap. It looks too pixelated. ST Armada 2 looked much better as did ST Elite Force. Going to try a few more games tonight.
Anyone have an idea how I can fix the crappy picture in some games? The intro and title screens look good,but the gameplay is crap. I'm running at native resolution. Funny thing is that I can't run ST Armada 2 at native, and it looks better than ST Armada 1 at native.
