A few years back, I tried hooking up an htpc on an projection hdtv through the s-video port on a 9800 pro. Needless to say, it looked horrible. Text was extremely distorted/fuzzy and all the colors were off.
Now I am considering a 42 in plasma hdtv or a 37 inch lcd tv. With a dvi in port, can i expect an improvement? (ie: are colors what they should be, text readable?) Anyone use an htpc for casual gaming? Basically, I want to use it to watch movies, liten to music, and play some bf2.
