mac baine, not really, sometimes ill run around and my character will look to the sky and start spinning in circles cause my mouse spazzes out.

Same here. Do you have a wireless logitech too?

If you're looking for a gaming mouse, I would stay away from the MX700. I have one but I go back to my Intellimouse Explorer v1 for gaming. I used to think that people were just BSing when they said that battery mice were too heavy for gaming but now I know what they mean. I recommend the MX500: almost all of the advantages of the MX700 and none of the disadvantages.

I like the light mice, I have an mx300 with the weight taken out 😛

I have an MX300. It's a nifty inexpensive mouse and it works wonders for UT2k3. I play a lot of insti-gib and this mouse is more responsive than any other I've used.

MS intellimouse explorer works great. I have an MX700 but I don't like it.

(edit, I just blinded myself with the laser looking at the tag on the bottom for you to make sure I had it right. AIIIEEEE MY EYEEESSS!)

MS IE is a bright freakin LED I've done that myself just fooling w/ it. Funny stuff.

Used to have a Razer Boomslang, but I switched to the Logitech MX500 when my Boomslang crapped out.

However I might order another Boomslang since they are back in production and are offering a special for previous owners.

thanks for all your feedback guys. i think ive settled on the mx500 because i dont really need a cordless (mx700) and i do like the side buttons.

now to find a good deal on it. 40$ seems a bit pricey for me. hopefully some coupon stackin deal comes up.

oh and now to get rid of this dell mouse pad!

good choice, the mx500 is the best gaming mouse imo. now, get a func 1030 mousepad (about 15 bucks) and you'll be set as far as gaming goes. trust me, there is NO better combination.
