Gaming + Media Monitor Selection

I am stuck in between either going for a TN or a VA panel. I definitely do not want to deal with any ghosting, however I also want good viewing angles and excellent picture quality. Don't really have a budget but id like to spend no more then 350$ on a monitor. Would like the monitor to be 24".

This is what I have in mind at the moment. Any opinions?

I ended up going for this: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=56381&vpn=VE248H&manufacture=ASUS

However after reading more reviews, I am definitely thinking of changing. I have another 5 days to change my mind, as I am picking up the system + monitor then.

Would I notice a difference in response time / ghosting between this and the dell u2412m e-ips is 24"?

Also I am purchasing from NCIX, so if it is available on ncix.com it will be much more convenient.

IMHO "ghosting" per se is a non issue with any vaguely-recent panel (except for maybe the cheapest of the cheap). What bothers people nowadays is input lag, but that has more to do with the amount of image processing that the monitor does than the physical panel technology that's being employed.
