Gaming LCD, Composite Video?

The topic says it all. Basically, my wish list for a new monitor (which is pretty specific) is:

-Great Gaming LCD
-Composite Inputs (to plug consoles into for more gaming)
-Not Too Expensive (hoping for $400 or less if possible)

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

How is the response time on it? Is it actually good for gaming? Any problems with scaling down?

Straight to the point answer: Consoles look terrible on LCD's due to resolution scaling.

I was shocked how bad Xbox & PS2 looked on my 2001FP.

what console(s) are you going to be using? i use a modified cable for gamecube to output 480p thru vga to my monitor and it looks great.

i run a vcr (as a tuner) using composite and watch tv on my 2005fp and it looks fine. i would assume games look just as good as they do on a normal tv.

Here's what you do.......
Find an LCD you realy like with both DVI and VGA.....
Get a NextVision N6 video processor, it'll accept just about any input including HD ones, and make them look fairly nice on your monitor.(note, the modern consoles basically need HD to look right on a monitor)
Say like get a Hyundai L90D+ for around $350, then the N6 for around $180, it'll be much better than getting a monitor with composite input built in.
