gaming laptops 12" - 14" ?

I want a decent gaming laptop, I have really been eyeing M1210 with 7400...I currently have a laptop with an X1400 and it works perfectly fine for wow, cs, and the such.

I was curious is there an upgraded one in a 12" laptop around 1000$ ? I hear the 8400 is about the same in comparison.

are there any other brand laptops that I have overlooked ?

I want to stick with a 12.1 because I have always used a 15.4" and it seems too big to take to classes now...so I would like to upgrade to a smaller laptop with decent graphics!

You can only get that deal if you're an university student with valid .edu email address.

When configured similar spec online, it was close to $2000 shipped.

Different schools have different deals and here's the secret: You dont have to be part of that university system to buy. Just make sure you have .edu address (otherwise, dell will cancel ur order)

I'm UGA student and I bought my 1330 off University of Florida website. 🙂

I do not think there will be very many m1330 deals going on.

may be just check the Dell outlets. they seem to have tons of laptops under 1000.

Third thing down, right underneath 1 gig DDR 667, it says 8400 GS. That is the graphics card.
