Gaming laptop for golf simulator

Hello all,

I recently bought a golf simulator and the software requires me to buy a gaming laptop.

I know next to nothing so please bear with me.

the software requires an Intel i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, a Nvidia 1070 card or equivalent, and 25 GB of hard drive.

I’m looking at a laptop that has an Intel i7, 8 GB RAM, a 1660 ti card, and 256 GB.

I know the graphics and storage is more than enough, my question was should I try to find One with 16 GB RAM instead? I will primarily only be using it for this software.

also, it is an Acer Helios 300. Is that a good model?

thank you
