Gaming laptop for ~$800?

I'm looking for a budget gaming laptop that can play games like Skyrim and Saints Row 3. No other real requirements besides the budget - maybe 15" screen minimum; it will mainly be used for playing games a couple years behind the current release cycle and I'd like it to last for at least 2 years so if there's one that's capable of playing Saints Row 4 now that'd be great. Anyone have any suggestions?

exactly what i would get. not really into the 17" laptops, too big, bulky, and heavy.

Not sure if OP would take a 15 inch with a 768P display. I would really just get the 14 inch one.

I knew someone here was going to link the Y410/510 series.

I just ordered the Y410 last week and it should come next week.

I can give you a detailed review on it when it arrives though, if you aren't in a hurry.

From my research on the Y410P:

1. The trackpad is a bit bad from what I heard. Though it is usable and it shouldn't bother you since gamers usually have a mouse.

2. Kind of heavy for a 14 inch laptop. 5.5 LB is what it is rated as.

3. Battery life is kind of iffy. Though with minimum power saving settings, it should get you to 4 to 5 hours when doing light browsing.
