i'd try to find something with at least an ati mobility 9600(minimum).
also, get something with dedicated graphics memory. 64mb minimum but 128mb or more preferred.

Get the Gateway re-badged Emachines. I think the GX7405 or the 7422 from Best Buy will do the trick. The 7422 comes with 1GB of RAM standard, is $1250 after instant rebate, A64 chip and a 64 MB ATI 9550 video card.

Warcraft 3? Any current notebook.

World of Warcraft - get *at least* a Radeon 9000 or FX 5200.

i wouldn't say 'any' current notebook. i'd avoid the ones with the dreaded integrated graphics like the plague. oh, and celerons too.

The only laptop that'll fit your bill is the M6805/7405GX/7422GX line of lappies. Get them at your favorite B&M store (CC or Best Buy). Damn good laptops for low low prices. The only problem is that they're not the lightest or the thinnest. But i'm more than used to it by now and I love mine.

i'd say get something higher than that with regard for being able to play other newer games.

I have the Toshiba M35X from the black friday deal, it has a 1.4ghz Celeron-M, 512mb (i added 256mb) RAM, intel integrated graphics...and I run WC3 just fine, WoW on the other hand runs decent with all settings pretty low. But WoW is still very playable on the laptop, in fact my whole christmas break was spent in WoW on my laptop, but it looks like a completely different game than my desktop with a 6800GT.
