Currently have an Imperator Pro for over a year, and sort of dissatisfied with it.

Must: wired, preferably braided wire.

Not a must: "hipster" mechanical keyboards. Regular keyboards worth 30$, but sold for 300$ because of LEDs and a famous brand name (e.g. Corsair... maybe even Razer to some extent...)

After some searching I've rounded-up some prospective replacements:

- Logitech G19: aesthetics (+) brand name (+) non-braided wire (-) power adapter (-) gimmicky screen (?) price (+)
- Microsoft Sidewinder X6: aesthetics (+) brand name (+) functions (+) non-braided wire (-) holy shit batman price (-) large wrist guard (-)

Holy caraças! That's a sweeeeeet price for such a nice looking keyboard! Thanks for the suggestion! Be sure to report back on how you like it.

I have been searching for a new gaming oriented keyboard for a while now. I've sort of fallen in love with a MadCatz STRIKE 5, after seeing it in the flesh and reading about it. And the price isn't too high.

I do have the serious problem of not living and working in an english speaking country, which means I'll have to ditch my current keyboard layout...

Unless there are keyboards that you can customize the keys or something? Not software-side, really change the keys for something different...
