I was wondering if anyone had a way to play older games in higher resolutions. I started playing Tachyon: the Fringe lately again and while it's still a lot of fun, it would be better if the program's max resolution wasn't 1024x768. I can't find any information about a resolution switch...

Anyone have any brilliant ideas for how to kick this up to at leaast 1600x1200?

Thanks in advance for any ideas to try.

Absolutely awesome game! Try looking in the registry, or a command line switch to force the resolution.

As mentioned, sometimes there's a command line switch or registry entry. I've seen people hack executables to add options a few times too.

Look ever at Widescreen Gaming. They have resolutions switchers that work with a wide variety of games.
