Gaming ~ HT on VS. HT off

i just wanted to show what basic benchmarks look like with HT on and off.
i wasnt trying to say HT sucks or anything like that.
but its obvious that for gaming HT is only useful when mulltitasking with another program.
for single app gaming, HT seems to interfere (memory bandwidth) more then it helps.

I didn't see that in any of your tests. Your results were so close together as to be meaningless. whether it is on or off makes no difference in gaming.

Nice testing. But I luv HT on my P4. I can ALT-TAB between FarCry and BF1942 loaded at the same time.
