Gaming Hand: Right or Left?

Okay, a friend of mine comes over occasionally, and I like to watch him play CS, whatever, in order to see what his playing styles are. But every time he's over, he complains because my mouse is right of the monitor and controls are for the left side of the keyboard. I reply that I've never seen anyone besides him use that setup, rather using WASD and right handed mouse. So just to prove that he's the exception to the rule, do you hold the mouse with your right or left hand?

I hold the mouse with my right hand and angle the keyboard so I can use the arrows to move. I can't stand using the letter buttons to move, I have never understood how people do it.
