What is the best free forum you have found to use for a gaming group/ clan?

I have only one specific need, that is that it have the ability for ranks to be imposed so that certain areas of the forum aren't accessible to lower ranks so that moderators can post assessments without the entire groups knowledge.
 
My clan has been hosted on yuku (previously ezboard) for about 5 years now. It works well enough.
