Hi,

I had an account banned at a different game site for what they alleged was posting on multiple accounts, same IP address they said. The problem is we are all different people and have used the same computer at our place of employment to post on that site. I feel bad because one of the people who got their account banned was my boss. How can I prove to the moderator/s of the site we are three different people?

You need to ask them what they want for proof.

If they have a rule against multiple accounts from one IP, then that's the rule they have.

I posted here for advice honestly. Maybe it was too much to hope for.🙄

Well, perhaps not entirely too much, since you did get some, but then this is a gaming forum, not a forum about how other forums are moderated, or even a forum about how this forum is moderated, so why you would expect the other gamers here to have meaningful advice about how to deal with the mods on another forum is a mystery. This is a large forum and gets a lot of spam thrown at it, so when you see a low post count poster posting something that seems to make no sense you just assume their intentions are not as publicly advertised.

I do see your point, but since it happened on a gaming forum, I thought perhaps other gamers who post on forums would have experience or know something regarding the matter. My post count is low and the issue for spam is certainly valid and I have seen it many times before, but its all good since the issue was resolved.

Why the hell do we care about some other gaming site? Go ask them, not us.
