Review gaming endgame. X3D CPU = seamless

9955HX3D laptop + 5070ti mobile 12gb in particular

playing wukong 2K Ultra settings native no DLSS, one of the most demanding games rn

FPS is around 50-70 but it always feels seamless..... there are no freezes, no drops, nothing. 50 FPS normally sounds almost unacceptable, but with X3D cpu it's still seamlesss..... barely noticeable it dropped below 60

with DLSS quality its around 90FPS, with frame gen x2 130FPS, x4 200FPS. frame gen works fine but prefer without

also for a laptop.... noise levels and temps are completely normal, nothing noticeable

and 12gb gddr is the sweet spot. just above 8gb. 8gb is used intentionally to force ppl to upgrade... its the choke point

due to the perfect 1% lows there are never any freezes

freezes/hiccups was the experience killer since forever. X3D is the cure

X3D + mid range GPU really fixes gaming no matter what you play. dont need anything more expensive at all

What are your experiences with X3D cpu?

Sounds like a nice laptop. I have never gamed on a laptop but 9000 series x3d are nice. My desktop will still hit a wall eventually though. Some simulation games will eventually choke anything you can put in your motherboard. 12gb vrsm is just now starting to become an issue. if you game at 4k it can cause problems (never seen any myself at 2k resolution). I look forward to the incoming 12gb of vram.is not enough thread.

you can get it for like 2000 bucks in china right now

next year it will be 1500

yes 12gb gddr is perfect for everything ultra under 4K res

no, zen 4 mobile 3D was different, very very limited stock exclusive-only in 1 outdated ASUS chassis, 17'' with fat bezels

zen 5 mobile 3D is very widely available (many tongfang resellers) with big demand

I use desktop only. But the 5600X3D, 5800X3D, and 7800X3D are the 3 best gaming CPUs I've ever used. Minimal tweaking necessary (negative CO and +200MHz boost) and the power, temps, and performance are badass.

AMD dip is bull💩 It's all PEBKAC and gas lighters. Never had a smoother experience than on X3D CPUs. Obviously some games are a hot mess, so a flawless experience is nigh impossible in some of them. Though I have found a frame cap solves most of those. And of course I don't use any kind of 3rd party apps for RGB, armory crate, any of that stuff.

Is it true... It's a little questionable
In the first place, LAPTOP with Ryzen HX is a rare category... (HX 370 is an exception)
Furthermore, no matter how much the X3D wields on the desktop
Will there be more models with HX X3D in Laptop…
It's rare in my country... Laptop with X3D is...

Yeah, not much chance it's coming down in price to $1500 unless they somehow overproduce them which is unlike AMD.
Or at least some gens laters, when the rest tries to catch up.

Meanwhile... waiting for a mad Lenovo trying to oversell those laptops to get one in heavy discount.

Context: I bought a Legion with 1 year warranty for USD 800... on a country that the same laptop cost over USD 1200 (yeah, it's Peru, is high the prices).
