So I’m playing games as usual, but just by coincidence the following things happened in a row:
  1. Vampire Bloodlines: one of the missions downtown LA is to find out what’s causing a plague infecting humans.
  2. Dishonored: a rat plague all over the city, lockdowns, diseased humans, etc.
  3. Resident Evil 3: just released. 'Nuff said.
Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.

How’s everyone else’s gaming during the lockdown? Hope you're all healthy.

Doing great, thanks. Good to read you are holding up well too.

I have been playing -

1. Assassin's Creed: Black Flag (Have yet to ever finish it)
2. Assassin's Creed: Origins (Just started this one for the first time)
3. Fallout 4 vanilla version. (No mods, no DLC, just goofing around)
4. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (2006) Finished it again.
5. GTA: San Andreas (Another I have yet to ever finish)
Coming up:
Fallout: New Vegas ( I have never played as a dirtbag. Going to join Cesar. Will be my first Melee centric build too)
GTA III (very few hours ever played)
Doom 2016 (never played it)
Rise of Tomb Raider (never played it)

Mostly playing relaxing stuff for now.

No Man's Sky, Bejeweled 3, World of Goo, Audiosurf, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and a bit of Heroes of the Storm (at least in the past two weeks, I played those). In terms of health, so far so good; crossing my fingers it stays that way. I just dread going to the grocery store even just once a week and having to wait 3 to 4 days in complete uncertainty, until symptoms might kick in. That's the part I hate the most. The unknown aspect, the "what if it was this week I got it" notion at the back of my head every time I come back from doing my errands.

But yeah those games helped me to relax lately.

I'm definitely playing more....being at home. I'm upstairs in my oldest son's bedroom. He's away at college. So I'm using his desk and gaming monitor as my "workstation".

But when I'm caught up on email and/or not in a conference call, I run downstairs to my real "office" and fire up Dead Space 2 until the next call and/or my phone shows that some emails have come in that I need to deal with.

So I'm getting some exercise going up and down the stairs. Only downside is the snarky comments from my wife when I'm gaming....."I see you're working real hard today". But that's all in good fun. I wonder if this will still be fun a month from now?

Yea I'm considered essential and I've been working remotely-but when I can game I've put some hours into:

Dirt Rally 2.0
Doom Eternal
AC4: Black Flag
The Witcher 3 (I'll likely never finish)
Forza Horizon 4

Resident Evil 3 remake just dropped so I might check that out, too. Haven't had a chance to play Alyx yet

I am currently not working due to the virus so I have a fair bit of time to game and currently am playing the folowing:

The Division 2 - Just helping my brother through the harder stuff really.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint - doing the new Sam Fisher content.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Was going to play Origins but I kinda hated the controls, just too fiddly but this one works a treat and reminds me of Black Flag (which I still haven't finished).
Star Wars Battlefront 2 - Just for laughs with friends really.

Since it was brought up in the very forum I plan on playing some Total Annihilation Kingdoms at some point, maybe some old school KKND, Battlezone or Dark Reign for some RTS fun.

Oh boy where to start!

Because of watching Half Life Alex on Youtube i decided to replay Half Life 2 and EP1 & 2. It is truly an amazing game even after so many years. Want to replay Black Mesa again but i am waiting for a sale to get it.

Installed Star Craft remastered again and playing now.

Playing Dying Light again, lots of fun there slashing zombies. Can't wait for Dying Light 2 to come out, according to videos it is even more fun than 1st.

Will get Metro Exodus finally tonight or tomorrow while it is still on a nice sale.

Also Age of Empires I & II Definitive Edition but abandoned it because of playing games that i mention above.

I want to play Doom Eternal but i am not registering for a new account so i am boycotting it.

EDIT: forgot about Borderlands 3 that I postponed playing for later

Here I thought I would have more time to game. Nope business as usual for me. My whole company is pretty much working from home and I'm still doing close to 10hrs a day writing code and what not. I work for a financial institution so nothing has slowed down.

It's really driving me nuts..I can barely leave the computer. Just before the pandemic hit we got a bunch of new people on our team and being the most senior they are just told to go to me for help when they are assigned work.

When I log off the PC my girlfriend suggests I read a book or we usually go and walk around outside. I'm doing everything but playing games during this time.

But I did buy and have been trying to play a little:

Half Life Alyx
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 2 ( need to finish it)
Nioh 2

Next week I want to try FF7 when it's out. I'll wait on doom eternal for a sale. I really thought I'd finish some of my games but I guess not.

- My whole team is work from home but since I'm in a leadership position I still have to go into an empty office for some bizarre reason (have to turn on a PC someone is remoting into from time to time ).

Anyhow, gaming time has definitely opened up thanks to shelter in place. With two kids I had very little time before but now that we can't go anywhere we have all sorts of "parallel" play time where everyone is doing their own thing together.

Even the wife dusted off her old Wii to try to beat an 11 year old Zelda save.

Just been plugging away at my backlog in the meantime. Working through Torchlight 2 at the moment. Really fits the bill with it's pick up and put down nature, soft cartoony graphics etc...

On my very few days off, I've been trying to finish MGS V but I swear this game is 40% loading screens/waiting and 60% getting frustrated and turning it off when Kiefer Sutherland does something stupid like start sliding on a slight incline or refuse to crawl forward despite the ground being flat or lovingly grabbing a guard instead of throwing them into the wall like I told him to do (dude just loves to embrace men wearing masks). I thought I was done with the main game, but the game says I'm only 50% through and I have so much more left to unlock/develop.

Only working around ~10 hours a week, but I've got an 11 month old so he takes up the remainder of the hours I'd otherwise be working. On top of the errands, I still get a few hours a week into Doom Eternal. I also play Beat Saber (VR game) for ~20-30 minutes every day as part of my exercise routine.

Trying to finish Dragon Quest XI on the Switch before FF VII comes out on Friday.

I bought Doom Eternal on release but honestly finding it too damn stressful due to its ridiculously fast pace. Might turn it to easy mode, or maybe this isn't really my kind of game anymore.

Assetto Corsa on my new to me Thrustmaster wheel + shifter combo as a substitute for cancelled HPDE season

Overwatch with friends is my main social interaction these days -- and I don't mind at all

The new Dooms look cool, but ya they are too busy for me. They are much different than the originals, relying heavily on Melee and Enemy Spam.

It started out like that for me but it gets easier as you upgrade your suit and find better weapons. I started with the medium difficulty (Ultra Violence?) and it went from feeling too difficult to sometimes too easy now.

Finally started Path of Exile and so far I've enjoyed it. I'm considering RDR2, Subnautica and ESO.

Life imitating art...

Playing the oldie 'Pay To Win' game Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances... always liked this game. Also, Battlefield 1, as I don't like the new one.

I might get back into sim car racing... Looking at a Logitech G29, and a WheelStandPro (https://www.wheelstandpro.com/) and iRacing... What do you think?

I tried Doom 2016 about a couple years ago, but I played for less than an hour - I guess I just wasn't in the mood for that type of game at that time. I just recently fired it up again and was determined to stick it out. It ended up being really fun. I didn't realize it had all these unlockable abilities, perks, etc. I enjoyed that aspect of it, and the general gameplay as well.

I'm currently playing Skyrim again for the first time in about five years (my first time playing the SE version). I've got a fair number of mods running (maybe 20 or so, mostly visual and game fixes) and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I've actually started over twice now, but my current build I'm really enjoying and planning on sticking with. I've never actually finished the main quest, but I'm determined to do that now. I keep getting sidetracked by seeing some not-yet-visited site on my little compass and not being able to help wandering over to see what it is. I've got Alchemy and Enchanting maxed now (Alchemy was quite easy to level up), and now I'm working on Smithing (it's been a pain). I'm mostly using the Bound Bow and the Bound Sword as weapons at this point, but once I get Smithing maxed, I guess I'm going to take the OP-ness to another level.

Doing good here as well, hoping your doing swell op.

Yeah been playing tons of Wizard101 as it runs on HD630 while my 1080ti runs Folding@Home for our home team :) Kinda got a itch for some COD WW2 Zombies maybe later. :p I rarely pause folding these days.
