Is there any reason going with a 7800GT over a 6800GS if one only gamed at 1280x1024 high detail? Is 7800GT mainly good for higher res?
 
If you want to play BF2 at high, a 6800GS isn't going to let you do it smoothly. Even a 7800GT can't cope at that resolution with transparent supersampling too well.
