3dmark03 won't make it through a single test without freezing the video/crashing or rebooting the computer. However, 3dmark2001 works fine (~13,000).

I have a refurb A7N8X DLX, and a brand new 2100+ (13x133) and 9700 Pro, 512 HyperX PC3000 @ 166 MHz. Running Cat 3.2. Just ran a clean install (XP, SP1, DX 9.0a, drivers) so there's no rogue drivers on this sytem. I'm kind of bummed. Anyone have any ideas? The fact that it worked splendidly through 3dmark 2001 makes me think it's a DX 9 issue. Anybody want to back me up, or do you think it's a hardware thing? Any suggestions on determining the culprit?

I would try changing the RAM clock speed to 133 MHz and testing it again. Or use less aggressive memory timings.

I hit rage3d forums and read a couple of things to change. After changing my AGP voltage, changed to agp 4x mode, and turning fast writes off, it all works great.
