:|:|so gamestop has gt4.wal mart has gt4..every store has gt4.
i have $25 in store credit at gamestop, but the price there is 49.99
walmarts price is 39.99...gamestop apparently refuses to pricematch.
so now i am stuck without a copy of gt4 becuase i dont want to buy it from walmart. there is NOT ONE SINGLE game on the market i want for the foreseeable future other than gt4.


so what do i do?
eat it and pay the extra ten..knowing for as long as i own the game i overpaid.
or pay $40 at walmart and take the store credit into gamestop to make my final purchase ever from the place?

Buy it at wal-mart and then trade it in at gamestop for something else. I am sure you can use your imagination to get that extra $10 back in trading somehow.

walmart is 1/4 the distance that gamestop is from me.
would you pay $500 for a tv at sears when you could get the same tv for $400 elsewhere?(and in closer proximity)

they used to pricematch,apparently they cant be bothered to anymore.
i dunno if eb's policies have changed but when i worked there (6 years ago)..we pricematched ANY b+m that could be verified..certainly walmart.

Price-matching is a courtesy, not an obligation. Stores aren't required to extend you the courtesy of matching a competitor's price if they don't want to.

Bottom line:

If you don't like the prices ... don't shop at the store.

i suppose, but thats a day long into the future as there doesnt seem to be anything on the horizon(that interestes me) for quite awhile.

how about you go buy the game from wal mart and then go to gametop and buy a new controller or memory card, hell, maybe just put the $25 towards the new steering wheel that logitech just released specifically for GT4... there are other things to buy at gamestop than games... they do carry accessories.

You're an idiot. Someone says buy it at Walmart, you disagree with him. Someone says buy it at Game Stop, you disagree with him. What the hell do you want from us?

Here's my suggestion - you said that it will be a good long time before you'll use the GameStop credit if you don't use it now. So it seems that you don't buy a lot of games. So use it NOW. If you save it for another unknown game in the future, chances are THAT one will be cheaper at Walmart as well.
 
I'd say go to Wal-Mart and buy a Barbie playset ...

then give your Gametop credit to someone that isn't a little b!tch.

Because GameStop doesn't price match, that's why.

You are complaining about someting ridiculous. Maybe next you can complain about how you have to pay a percentage in sales tax and how that isn't fair either.
 
Bottom line: BUY THE FVCKING GAME OR GIVE YOUR CREDIT TO SOMEONE THAT CARES. EB fvcked up and shipped me a copy of GT4 (and charged me for it) after I cancelled the order because I decided to buy it at Walmart instead. What did I do? I returned the new copy to Walmart. If you're going to be a ferengi, you have to learn to deal with uncooperative assclowns. Unfortunately, at this stage, we aren't equipped with marauders capable of taking down trading vessels on a moment's notice, so it takes some creativity and persistance to PROFIT!!!!
 
ok, fvck it.im using the credit. score one for gamestop. who HAS a pm policy..they will pricematch someone in their "plaza" which leaves kaybee...............but wont pm the walmart a half mile away.
fvck gt4 fvck gamestop!!!!
