Same score as far cry. I'm a bit worried about the AI. They didn't mention much in halo 2, but they seem to be harping on the AI in various reviews of half life 2. That's scary, considering how bad the AI in halo 2 is in some places. They will literally let you shoot them while they run into a box.

Gamespy "First Impressions" said the AI was very good and enemies were "smart even when they had no business being smart". So, don't despair.

In any case, I hear the enemy AI in CS:Source is a little better. 😉

only reviews i ever found good were in EDGE, and at at one point CVG. i just use reviews if there's a "maybe" game i've heard about but am not sure on, which has probably been about 1 in every 10 of my purchases (and has the lowest success rate at actually resulting in a good game).

said a lot that EDGE was the only mag where you found adverts for programmers and game designers, and CVG was a slightly downmarket mag and the only other real alternative for multi-format. Alas writers get hired and fired like everybody else, so i've no idea if either mag are worth reading now, and this has to be taken in the context that the console-specific mags were busy calling each other "greystations".

In response to earlier posts about how certain reviews are crap/biased/arbitrary: don't bash a review for a game that you haven't played yet. Play the game first, think about it a bit, and then form an opinion of the review. 😛
