Games you play with your SO?

Wife and I get on the steam link from time to time and play games. She doesn't game much at all, just with me really. We just finished a short 6 hour game called "The Park". It was your typical interactive scary game.

I've got Amnesia loaded ready to start with her but not sure if it's too interactive? I'm really looking for titles that are easy to play, no weapons/combat and will scare the shit out of both of us.

I feel a game like Amensia might be too involving but then again I've only played the game for about a half hour😵

Any games you guys recommend to play with the SO, hopefully scary/horror games?

My wife and I play a lot of VR games together (taking turns). We have also in the past played a lot of Minecraft together which she really enjoys. Don't starve together is also fun.

You two might enjoy playing The Long Dark?

Used to play Rise of Nations with the wife. Then she got her smart phone and didn't want to play anymore. 🙁

We used to play a lot of MMOs together, mostly DAoC and SWTOR, but we don't play them anymore. Now she is not interested in my strategy games although I almost got her into CK2. I think she mostly plays Tropico now.

We sometimes like to play the hidden object games like Dracula Legacy. They are cheap to try to see if you like them. There is a thread in this forum about them, [thread=2456677]check it out.[/thread]

My SO and I also enjoyed playing Huniepop and South Park: The Stick of Truth together. None of these are multiplayer, but are games that you can talk over your moves and decide what to do together.

Wife and I actually play a lot of games together. IN the vein that you are looking for you might want to try Left 4 Dead 2.

Wife plays Facebook games a lot, sometimes I'll join her, we used to play the LEGO series games on Playstation 4 and I got her to play a little of Planetside 2 but she quit that and I decided to level up her characters during double xp a copule weeks ago just for the hell of it. We both have different taste in games so no we don't spend a lot of time gaming together, we just sit next to each other on separate PC's and trade kisses.

Also I recently picked up Mega Man legacy collection, used to play those to death on Nintendo NES back in the days and she used to watch her brother play it so she's going to try playing it sometimes. And I got Tetris as well.

We played a ton of WoW... also played Diablo 3 and tried Borderlands but found that to be overall boring.

SC2, Hearthstone and HotS were played for a short time too. Guess we like Blizzard games lol.

EDIT:

I think we just decided to get Overwatch too!

Hide the salami.... oh you meant pc games. 😉

We need to know what you both like but mmorpg's can be great if you can work together or it can spell your doom if you let her die or she does to you and wipe in a raid. 😉

We're looking for the the scary/interactive games, she won't get into combat play or weapons, really just walking around and getting scared is all we're looking for.

My wife has never had any interest in computer games until we got a Wii a few years back. That she liked because you could actually move and do things. I was kind of hoping they would have some similar games on the XBox One at some point but so far there is nothing similar to the bowling and stuff we could do on the Wii.

Jealous at all the people who has a SO that plays video games with them..

>:\

HOGs are something we both play together. Plants vs. Zombies co-op and versus on Xbox 360. Also board and card games. Sometimes we watch each other play Fallout.

We don't really play the types of games you're after.
But we played through Diablo 3 on PS3, then PS4, Double Dragon Neon, Trine 1 & 2, Divinity: Original Sin, Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, a couple of the Deathspank games, Castle Crashers, Hoard, Lara Croft & the Temple of Osiris...
this sounds frustrating, and yet potentially hilarious
Yeah, I'm planning to try it with my gaming group soon.

Trine series is really fun local co-op. Magicka series can be fun if your better half has good coordination and reflexes. Me and my lady have been playing Titan Quest over LAN for the last few months.

For consoles, we play lots of ARPGs like Champions of Norrath, Return to Arms, Dark Alliance, etc.
