The only games I think I actually finished in 2019 are Control, The Outer Worlds and Metro Exodus... backlog getting smaller but my gaming life sucks now.

I did replay all of the original Half-Life games though, since I hadn't done so in awhile--along with the original Borderlands.

EDIT: Totally forgot about Wolfenstein New Colossus and D2: Death of the Outsider. Actually liked those games quite a lot.

The new Wolfenstein game and Heroes of Might and Magic V. Both were quite good.

Finished Borderlands 3, COD WW2, and a replay of Witcher 3 (with a new PC that eliminated the stutter). Tried to replay Dragon Age: Inquisition but found it more boring that the first playthrough. Not many games that interest me anymore. I want to play Metro Exodus and the newest COD game at some point.

I think that the only new games that I completely played through in 2019 are Tropico 6 and Surviving Mars. Both were pretty good.

I'm looking for another good Simulation game to sink my teeth into.... any ideas?

#0 I finished exactly zero games and added more to my backlog.

Planet Zoo?

How was Surviving Mars? I bought as it was something I followed forever, but started playing it and couldn't get into it. Then got distracted by Ancestors. Did you play the older Tropicos? I think I played 1-3, after that they seemed like clones with add-ons.

Surviving Mars is VERY time consuming, yet satisfying to win. I'd recommend installing the cheat dashboard add-on for it, which will save your colony's ass from dying because of a resource shortage at some point.

I also played Tropico 5 as well. I wouldn't recommend 6 if you already played 5 (there just isn't enough new stuff there), but coming from Tropico 3 you would have fun with it.

I'd like to see what people's purchased to finished ratio is. Mine is heavily weighted towards the purchased side (as I imagine most people's are).

I did finally finish Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. I almost finished Subnautica in 2019, but I believe I actually finished it just inside 2020. I finished the campaigns for Borderlands 1 and 2 again as well.

Well... there are some games like The Sims series or Simcity that you'll never really "finish". They just go on forever. For the games I picked, I considered myself done with them because I beat all of the scenarios that the game offered. For Surviving Mars, I even downloaded the terraforming expansion pack and beat all of the scenarios in that as well.

Slay the Spire - almost i mean you can never really finish it but after a while it gets so boring you have no desire to ever play it again.
-
I started kingmaker twice - maybe eventually i will actually finish it in 2020.
-
I finsihed the battletech campaign but i'll probably play it again now that all the dlc have been released and there are some really good mods.

Your list is both impressive and scary @BFG10K :D

As far as single player goes, I think I finished:
Slay the Spire
Darksiders 3
Darksiders: Genesis
The Witcher 3
For Honor (campaign mode)
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire

I admire your dedication. I didn't keep a list, but from memory:

Assassin's Creed: Origins
Batman: Arkham Knight
Detroit: Become Human
Half-Life
Luigi's Mansion
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

I think the only game I nearly finished is Everspace, but I played mostly games you don't finish usually. I 'finished' some by my definition, e.g., I'm happy that I have all the tanks I want in World of Tanks.

Impressive list bro. I need to eliminate the time consuming games from my inventory so that i can concentrate on the deserving ones. The ones i finished this year including ps4 games are:
1. RDR2
2. Detroit: Become Human
3. AC: Origins
4. Divinity: Original Sin 2 (absolutely loved it, the menu theme running across my mind as i type this)
5. Bloodborne + DLC
6. Darks Souls 3
7. Sekiro
8. Hearts of stone and Blood and wine expansions for the Witcher 3

Would've definitely finished more if i spent less time on those goddamn time vortex games mainly LOL, WOW and Fifa 19-20.
