Games worth buying for a 360?

planning on picking one up tomorow so i can have it for Halo 3 which i ordered 2 months ago without having a 360

ao whats worth picking up

i hate sports games
but anything else is fine,
ive allreay played and beaten GoW, my bro had it when he was here
 
IMO Bioshock isn't worth buying at full price. It's a great game, but for most not a whole lot of replay value... despite what they advertise. No multiplayer, so you'll just be playing the same (somewhat short) game over and over again. You could find a better way to spend $60
 
I bought my first 360 about a year and a half into its lifespan, so I was in the same boat as you.

I started at the top of this list and worked my way down. I focused on my favorite genres and the games that already dropped to $20-30 dollars. But I had a nice, cheap collection in no time.

My philosophy is that I'd rather get two or three $20-30 games that came out a year ago than spend $60 on a new one that's just about to come out (not including games that happen to be particularly desirable, like it seems Halo 3 is for you). Hey, if you've never played it then it's "new" to you.

By the time you're done playing your back catalog all these current games will be cheap themselves. It's the circle of life, it's beautiful. 😛
 
Burnout Revenge - somewhat old, may wanna wait for the new one
Call of Duty 2 - cod4 is probably oging to take everyone away from who plays that
Table Tennis - no clue who still plays this online
Gears of War - still pretty popular
Halo 3 - definitely a must have.

That's my list of games I currently own, and I've owned probably 15 games or more since release.
 
BioShock is the best game I've played sine Zelda: Twilight for Wii IMO.

I'd recomment BioShock and Halo 3. There's actually some interesting RPG's out for the Xbox360 now - Eternal Sonata has piqued my interest a bit.

-Battlestations Midway (this is arguable, but I think it's a good, underrated game)

apperently you cant read, not only is Madden a sports game where i explicitly said I HATE SPORTS GAMES, is a fucking horrid and buggy POS

Racing games fall into sports cat for me i cant stand them


anyway i got my 360 with Kameo, i like platformers, and it was cheap and is pretty fun

I bought a limited edition halo 3 xbox 360 and halo 3 last night, I will be resuming my collection of 360 games soon

so far I like:

Burnout Revenge
Viva Pinata
