CD rom is in slave and games only load on DVD-Rom they were installed with. Is this a master/slave issue or a targeting issue?

Depends on the game but mostlikely it's a targeting issue or copy protection issue. Good luck getting this to work :)

He hit it. It's a "targeting issue."

When you install any application that requires the actual CD to be present in order to run, (i.e. games) the application remembers the drive letter that it was installed from.

So, everytime you run the .exe that starts said application, it first looks at "Drive X" to make sure that the CD is there.

Can i do them all at once or 1 by 1? I am using XP (don't Shoot!). I changed the drive letter to the one that i want to be drive e:, but it still has problems.
