Well not really the holy grail for me since I own the arcade game lol. But yes I get what you mean.

Yeah it was a little like all the mortal Kombat ports. All of them had various changes or issues. Either the control was a bit sloppy feeling, animations were poor, sound was changed, stages changed or alternate color pallets used for various things. Never really did get a perfect port back in the day despite various magazines at the time calling it that.

I was wrong. But so were you.

Just Baseball Stars and Crystalis.
I have way more NES games with "SNK" on the label. Not sure if SNK played different roles on those?

I just noticed "SNK" on the back of "Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf" (with no logo) as I was putting it back on the shelf. Real subtle.

I can't think of any stinkers made by SNK, but I'd probably never even try most golf games anyway.

Guerrilla War and Ikari Warriors immediately sprang to mind. I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of others. I believe SNK was prolific on NES.

SNK's label style is very familiar.

SNK did put out a lot of stuff on NES though. Pretty good lineup.
I remember having no idea what Ikari Warriors was when our friend showed up with Ikari Warriors II or III. We sat down and ended up playing through the entire game from start to finish! Fun stuff.

Not that it was easy... I recall that it was “arcade style” so you could keep continuing like you were inserting coins at the arcade. I do recall having to start over at some point so perhaps it wasn’t totally unlimited continues.

Edit:
Always looking for an opportunity to show off the collection again.
