WTF. This is ridiculous. I downloaded the NHL 2004 demo and I can't play it yet cause it says I need dx 8.1, IE6, and Shockwave 6. Why would I ever need an updated internet browser to play a fvcking short demo? I use IE5 because I've always used the oldest versions of programs unless I am no longer able to or if the new one actually is better. I was using IE4 for so long until I got win2k which has IE5. The simpler the better, runs faster, etc... I hate those MS updates (wmp 6.4 rocks too).
On a related note, I hate EA games. I wish they would cease to exist. EA is shady as hell.
