Bear with me, I do almost no PC gaming these days and am completely uneducated on the controllers. Hell, the only joystick I own is a gameport interface, I don't even own a USB controller of any sort.
I feel like doing a little retro gaming with some classic arcade titles like Space Invaders, Asteroids, Missile Command, Tempest, Space Invaders, etc. Controllers for most of the games are pretty easy as a normal gamepad seems like it would double acceptably well for the original arcade joysticks, buttons and knobs. The one exception is the spinner controller used in games like Tempest, Tron and Arkanoid. There are some high end spinners available for use in MAME cabinets, but in browsing through NewEgg and some Google-ing I didn't see any dedicated spinner/fire button controllers. Do any of the gamepads from Microsoft, Logitech etc have any knobs that also function as a spinner?
