Anyone know of any Games that can be run on a celeron 333 with a 4meg video card(laptop).
Looking for mostly rpgs(nox/diablo style) and fps

Any help would be appreciated

I'm pretty sure you'd be able to run Starcraft, Diablo (the original), and maybe even Half-Life. Of course there's always solitaire.

The Commander Keen series should play well. Just abuot any CGA or EGA game should do well in DOS mode :).

How much ram?

RTS games are pretty good on laptops. Red Alert 2 would run good as long as it has 64mb+ ram. Good luck with Diablo 2. :)

Its a Celeron 333 with 128 megs(maxed out :(
With a 20gig Hdisk
Running Windows ME and 2000
With 4meg Ati Rage Video
Its a Compaq Presario 305 Laptop
Only 3.5 pounds :)

RPGs? Quest For Glory I-V... all awesome RPGs. The first 2 ran on my 386sx with no onboard vid 4 megs of RAM. Great games.

it's the forgotten rpg that was really really awesome..
and then there's always classic quake.

Get NESticle and download Final Fantasy, the first and by far the best one. You can play so many ways you won't ever get bored with it. I only advocate doing this if you own the original game of course.

starcraft is good and baldur's gate is good too. dont expect to run 3d games (recent ones) since they might require better video card.

i remember Need For Speed running pretty well on my PII 233 with 32 MB ram... he he, i love that game...
