Games stop accepting keyboard/mouse input

Andy T

Senior member
Keyboard: Logitech G105 MW3
Mouse: Logitech G700s
Latest version of Logitech Gamin software
Win 7 64 bit.
Windows Defender was run to rule out viruses/malware

Problem: Happens in multiple games. The game stops accepting any keyboard / mouse input except for moving forward. This lasts 1 or 2 seconds and I get control back again.
Happens in the following games: Skyrim, Advanced Warfare, Battlefield 4.

Any suggestions as to the causes/fixes of the issue?

Thanks!

a) try removing the Logitech software
b) try using a different keyboard
c) try using a different mouse
d) do you have other games where this is not an issue?
e) does this ever happen outside of games?
f) do you have a spare harddrive you could make a fresh install of windows on, and install one of the games and see if it happens?
g) did it ever not do this?
h) did your USB drivers recently update?
i) have you tried different USB ports?
j) have you recently changed hardware, started overclocking?

Thanks! It turned out to be an issue with G700s. Not sure if the battery is going down or the mouse. When I plugged in my spare G400s, the game was fine. G700s is working OK in wired mode right now.
