Games randomly launching in "Windowed" mode

Hey guys I have this random issue where some of my games (notably Far Cry 3 and Saints Row The Third) randomly start up in Windowed mode. Then I have to go to graphics settings and reset it to full screen.

Does anybody else get this sometimes with those games?
 
Could 'alt + enter' be involved? Some games can easily be switched from windowed to full screen with those keys.
 
If you're playing on Steam, make sure to go to launch options (Right click game from game menu >> Properties >> Launch Options) and remove the "-windowed" tag if it's there.
