Games on primary or secondary?

So I'm thinking of re formatting today. I have 2 36g raptors in raid 0 currently. From what I have seen in benchmarks raid 0 is not the best for game load times.

If I re format I plan to go standard set up so I have 2 hard drives. I would like to sort my files so that I have all of my doccuments and pictures on 1 drive and games on the other.

My question is, as far as load performance and acess time while gaming, is it better for the games to be on the hard drive with the OS so it can directly acess it along with dx9 or does this make a difference? Now that I think about it as I type this I don't think it would because the program would be acessing the drives independantly.

Is there a difference if I put the games on the hard drive the OS is not on, will that lower my perforance? Both drives are Identical.

partition one drive with an os partition and a data partition...use the other drive for games...that w2ay your swap file is on the first drive, and the apps are on the second...use the data partition on the first drive for pictures, video, etc

So when I set up the drives create a small partition for the OS, and the rest for data, so I will have 2 virtual drives on the 1st physical drive, and the 2nd physical drive just create 1 partition for the games on it?

How much room should should I leave for the OS partition?
