I've experienced that a few times during my video game playing career. Tetris, of course. One of the Syphon Filter games where you zoom in on a target with a scoped rifle. The scope was heat sensitive and made targets in the zoomed sight-picture a solid, bright green. When I'd be walking around IRL, my brain would zoom in on people and image them being bright green. It was a very weird feeling. I also experience it when I play racing games (GT/Forza/TDU) over long periods like an entire weekend. I get back into a vehicle and am imagining shifting with the L2/R2 or trigger buttons. Weird. The last was when I was deep into BF2. I would be outside, look into the distance at some rolling hills with a tree line for example and automatically envision myself trying to find cover in case there is a sniper in the trees.

Its the style of Guitar Hero.. when FreQuency and Amplitude were out, it did the same thing. The whole "conveyor belt" gameplay messes with things a bit... kind of like when you see a bright light you can see spots for a little while, but not as extreme. Dont worry about it.

If you want vision warping, try playing the tube tracks in F-Zero GX.

Yes! This game is awesome and I could see it happening. Although it never happened to me, I probably didn't play it long enough.

Once you play it long enough, you end up playing completely by instinct. It's a weird feeling.

i know games can do that to you but guitar hero is on another level.
i played for the first time maybe three straight games (songs) and it was already hard core.
