nexuiz had a big update yesterday or this week

1on1 mode dlc (that costed 5 bucks) now is free
they added 3 more maps, mutator customization, spectator mode, ugly mode (for competitive playing, thats the excuse at least... increasing performance and removing most of the eye candy elements), a benchmarking mode (stupid mode) to test your pc with everything maxed to the max XD

i wonder if it will be worth to play it now

we need something like this... its just so action packed and fast paced.. these games died before they had a serious chance because internet/online gaming wasnt as huge as it is now back in the late 90's
