Games like KOTOR...

Even though I never finished it due to rampant spoilers, KOTOR was an awesome game.

Now I need something like it. I'm going to play KOTOR II of course.

Made by the same people, with the same ruleset, but I dont think its comparable.
You only have control over one person and can issue very general guidlines to your henchman.

Also, I think the KOTOR 1 and 2 stories and gameplay are much better. Even with all the plot holes I had a lot more fun with Star Wars.
I keep hoping for a KOTOR 3 but it looks like NWN2 is the most important thing on their plate right now.

Actually, what I really want is a Baldurs Gate 3, but I know thats not likely.

EDIT: Note to Ichigo:
Try to get the strategy guide for KOTOR 2. You'll need some help with all the weird fluctuations in the story telling.
And while the game mechanics and interface are improved from the first one, you will find the plot to be lacking.
But DONT GIVE UP!
It is a good game overall.
(Also, get the latest patch to fix the quest bugs.)

As for other game sugesstions, well, there really isnt much else out there in terms of good, epic RPG's. Some folks like the online stuff, but thats up to you.

Jade Empire uses the same engine and has very much the same feel to KOTOR. It's coming out on PC some time soon and it's already out for XBOX.

KOTOR2's storyline was mostly nonsensical because Obsidian was forced to carve half of it out of the game in order to meet LucasArt's timetable, as such, the game seems really lackluster in comparison.

There a website dedicated to puttng the content back in, see Team Gizka

NWN1's thousands of user created modules mean almost limitless content and replay value.

With NWN2 now boasting full party control, I'm going to be picking that up.

fable...? ff7/ff8 PC?

None of those vaguely resemble KoTOR. Fable is a short demo of an action game with some very slight adventure elements. It is less of an RPG then most newer racing games. FF7/8 are much close then Fable, but they are extremely linear by comparison and you have no control over how things play out as you do in FF- you also have no control over where you character ends up in the way you do in KoTOR.

The only game that I think is comparable is Jade Empire, but it isn't out on the PC and it isn't as good as KoTOR.
