Ok, posted before but RMA'ed my hard CPU and MB now. I reinstalled the hardware and I still have the same issue. Any time I start up a 3d game the computer will just reboot.

I have ran memory test for a full 13 hrs with no errors. Yesterday, I got a Blue screen 2 times then reboot. Even though I have reboot on error unchecked. When the system came back the error message was transfered to microsoft came back with the following might be at fault:

-CPU
-RAM
-Motherboard
-PSU

Before starting a game my voltages are all within the norm. I have yet to get to look at the voltages after I start a game. Is there a tool that will record them constantly so I can take a look at them? Most of the time I don't get a Blue screen just a reboot.

Here are my specs

CPU: AMD 3200+
RAM: Corsair VS1GB400C3 (set manually to 3-3-3-8 w/ v2.7)
MB: MSI K8N Neo Plat
PSU: Ultra X-Connect 500w
VC: Ati 800x PTE

No other cards installed. 1 Hard drive, 1 DVD Burner. That is it.

Any help would very appreciated.

Motherboard Monitor 5 will allow you to set up a log to continuosly record voltages etc. It's the "sys log" feature and elect to have log put in a text.doc which will be in your MBM5 folder.

Not sure that MBM5 will "auto" set-up for your mobo though. THe guy running the site quite a while ago, just don't know if it was before or after your mobo came out. If it won't auto setup then you may have to do trial and error to get it working. Or go to a site (MSI forums) and see if somebody has already done it and can help.

Sounds to me like the most probable cause for these shutdowns is either PSU, or drivers. First thing I would do is try another PSU.

Don't be offended, but many peeps (me included) don't think much of X-Connect PSU's
