I liked Gun. That game had serious potential but the developers settled for 'good'.

I hated the gangsta/hood/rap theme. otherwise i might have liked it.

What was wrong with simcity 3000!? I think its at least on par with 4, which was a buggy pos with a crap mass transit AI, you know the thing im talking about, they take the shortest route rather than quickest, how stupid is that! They would get on thr train outside their door and ride around the entire city rather than walk a block to the subway which goes exactly to where they work.

I felt the exact same way after I finished it the first time.

But later, being bored, I went back through it, and enjoyed it quite a bit. I even went through it a 3rd time.

I feel like Baldur's Gate/PS:T/IWD or some other sort should be on that list.

I like every game you listed (except for DAOC, didn't play it) plus about 700 you didn't list.

I haven't played Mafia, PS:T, IWD. I think I played BG but don't remember much about it.

Not sure if i played Sim City 3000.

Starcraft was ok I guess.

This isn't a complete list. like i said at the end of my OP, there's plenty more, but I just couldn't think of them atm.

Haven't thought about this game in years but it was damn fun. I bet I still have it buried in the closet with my Mac.

Not only have I completed the Zork series, but also the Enchanter series, and various others like Hitchhiker's Guide, Leather Goddesses, Planetfall, and so on...

Yes all the Zork series were good, I also remember Fahrenheit 451 and another the name drops me some type of Detective game.

Mafia was good, Mafia II looks even better. Still can't forget that music in Mafia.

While the shooting and story was great, the driving was terrible. I don't know if it was the crappy cars or the fact that they were such damn long drives. Oh and not being able to speed was very annoying.

Yeah, they should have put sports cars in a game based in the late 30's.

Maybe a laser machine gun, too. ;)

I can't tell if you are joking because, frankly, every game should have laser machine guns.

Who can forget the racing level, had to win then rush back to town in a matter of minutes to proceed.
