Games freezing randomly

Ok, I am having problems running Unreal Tournament 2003 and America's Army on my computer. I have a PNY Geforce 4 ti 4200. I have an athlon xp 2100+ and 512 2700 DDR ram. When i play the game it will randomly freeze and sometimes continue on as normal and othertimes completely freeze and stutter horrifically and i usually kill it or reboot. I have a soyo dragon lite mobo and it comes with a hardware monitor program. The specs on the PNY site say it runs on 1.5 volts for the agp slot, and a lot of times my agp slot readings go up to 1.8 volts. Is my card overheating and thats why its freezing in these two graphically intensive games? I can run games like jedi knight 2 at maximum settings and itll be fine. Please help. I have all the latest drivers too. The only thing i can't get is windows service pack 1 cause i have a hacked windows xp. I emailed soyo about keeping the agp voltage at 1.5 ONLY but haven't gotten a response yet.

I am going to be taking out my PNY and installing my roommates geforce 4 (made by another company that went out of business a while ago), but my question is: what is a good geforce4 graphics card maker?

I think you'll find that MSI is the best maker of GeForce4-Ti4x00 cards. They overclock well and are very stable. I've had no problems at all with my MSI 128MB GeForce4-Ti4400 (275/275) overclocked to 330/315. I just added some DDR-SDRAM heatsinks on it.🙂
