I did some searching but can't find how to do something...
I know how to adjust my monitor (buttons on the front panel) for normal viewing, browsing the internet, typing documents, etc. Right now it fills up the screen. However, when I start playing a game (MechWarrior, Operation Flashpoint, etc.) it flips off the desktop and into another "mode" if you will. In this mode, the sides are all pulled in 1/2" to 1". If I use my front panel buttons to adjust it to fill up the screen, then later when I'm done playing and go back to the desktop, I've now got all that stuff spilling way off the screen.
I'd like to set it up so everything fills up the screen, games and the desktop both, but can't. I thought maybe I'd use the monitor's buttons to fill the games onto the screen, and then some kind of Windows software type settings to shrink the desktop and other applications down, but can't find anywhere to do it. My video properties allow me to move the image around, but not change the size of it.
I'm running Win2000, a GF3ti200, and a new HitachiCM721F monitor, if that helps. If anyone has figured this out, please explain!
