There are other women working at LTT, that have not, yet, reported anything similar. And there are ex female emplyees of LTT that are not reporting anything like this.

1 person being the target doesn't mean everyone was a target, so your suggestion rests on a false premise.

It's also high-profile (online), somewhat small industry - some people just put up with stuff because they need a job. There are all sorts of reasons people put up with harassment, or it gets underreported.

It's not hearsay. Her testimony is evidence. Hearsay is when you are reporting on what other people have told you.

Yes, there are a lot of drama women out there. We had a incident not a month or two ago where a very green employee (not even 6 months employed) accused a senior employee (also a woman more than 5 years with the company) of assaulting her when it was just a probably uncomfortable sharp tap on the hand, signalling her to wait a bit coz the senior employee was on a call. The accuser threatened to call the police and the senior employee was FORCED to write and sign a confession that she actually DID hit the younger employee. But since she was clearly wronged, she found job as a MANAGER and resigned. Very clear proof that someone up there way above our galaxy sided with her.

You live in the uae. it's a toxic place to work regardless of who you are. falsifies is a strong word here. this is a he said she said matter. even the whole metoo movement couldn't be proven with fact because there was no recording of the incidents, just a strong argument which wa sbelievable given the pigs working in hollyweird.

Lmd has employed women for a long time. how is it this one is the only one complaining of serious matters when others had a higher role than her and more financial resources to seek an attorney to represent them? there is more to this story than you're being told.

written statements are not sound evidence. for that you would want a recording, multiple people backing up your claims, video evidence, anything that proves without a doubt such an incident took place. if she had male coworkers who would testify under oath that she was treated this way it would go even further than if she had female coworkers say the same. courts have juries, and juries will consider an opposite sex's words more than another female's words.

Doesn't take much to make fake behind-the-scenes videos. Just what Linus did with the Billet Labs prototype speaks volumes of what a royal turd he is. Who is he to decide something is so crap that he can auction off something that doesn't even belong to him? When he didn't even follow the instructions to review it?

For as long as I've known LTT youtube channel, it was always more about entertainment than actual data backed reviews. Sure, there would be numbers, but they would be an afterthought against the backdrop of the social comedy. And to that end LTT has made some cool entertaining videos in the past such as building 100TB NAS, or doing extreme overclocking. Lately though, as in the past 2-3 years the majority of LTT content seems to be look at this memory stick I got from Aliexpress, click on the video to see what happens when I plug it in, or what did i just buy on facebook marketplace. It's all utter trash. Entertaining trash, but trash nonetheless.

LTT channel has never been about proper reviews, and given recent trend on putting out tons of content as fast as possible accuracy be damned, given Linus comments about not wanting to go back and spend $500 to retest, I'm not at all surprised at the number of mistakes and LTT treatment of Billet Labs. It is clear that the only thing LTT cares about is clicks and monetization, everything else be damned. He doesn't give two licks about the products he's reviewing or providing useful informative commentary to his viewers.

I already told you guys months ago that Linus had a substance abuse problem. You could see it on his face in his videos. More money, more problems. He did seem to clean himself up a bit recently.

I have been a LTT forum member since 2014.

I've always suspected he used cocaine. drug use is rampant in the tech industry. Although I hesitate calling ltt or lmd a tech group at this point in time.
