I have no doubt they could be as big as TV and the movies. But they have to get beyond the geek ghetto.

Why does every friggin article or mention of everquest need to note that it's called evercrack. nobody playing ACTUALLY calls it evercrack. (i gave it up a year ago. If you're thinking about starting, don't.)

When I played it three years ago, I jokingly called it evercrack. I played that game with every free minute that I had for a year until I figured out how much I hated people in that game, then like a switch I just stopped one minute and never looked back.

Although lots of times people refer to it as just 'crack' in game as in "yeah, I had to get my fix today" :)

I quit EQ after having a level 60 monk, level 55 enchanter, level 50 cleric, level 36 necromancer, level 30 rogue and more than six level 20 characters and no life for two years...
