I am having trouble getting my joypad (PC Trident pad) to work under my Soundblaster Live! card. The LCD screen on the joypad comes on, so it is definately getting power, but trying to confugure it manually doesn't work, ie it does not even recognise that a joypad is connected. There is no driver disk..it says to do it manually.
An "Add new hardware" search does not pick it up.
Is there a problem with the soundcard itself? I had a previous Saitek joypad, that did come with a drivers disk, but it still was not detected.
There are no conflicts and the Creative Gameport Drivers are installed. Under the Joystick configuration, it says that it is not connected, even though it a) is connected and b) the LCD display of the controller is on and working. I am at a loss!
