Hey, after searching threw local vendors, I cant seem to find a 15-Pin Gameport to USB. I have a old Microsoft Sidewinder 15 Gameport, its better than the X-Box controller expect no USB :(

Heh, some of the recent Logitech controllers automatically come with a Gameport to USB adapter.

I ordered one of these. If you go and do a search on Google for "Rockfire", that's one of the companies that make a USB port to joystick adapter. I think some also call it a USB/joystick nest.

After looking around, this company has them. http://www.cyberguys.com/
Do a search for item # 1310970 USB port to joystick adapter at their site. They have them listed for $15.84.

I do not know anything about the cyberguys company because I tried to order the Rockfire from a sh*tty company that I will never do any business with again (USBMAX / Quality Cables USA Inc.). Do not do business with USBMAX, you'll be sorry. I still do not have may Rockfire adapter so I can not tell you how it works. Most places sell this adapter for around $25.00.

Try Eb*y.

If you use a gameport to USB connector, will the gameport controller work better than using the gameport (ie. less compatibilty problems, faster, less jittery)?

That is what they say it will do. USB is digital were your game port is analog. This makes the USB device less jittery. One steering wheel maker (TSW) suggest using one of these to make their wheels work with XP in some systems. It's that or change the pots out to a high ohm value.
