What... HT cuts FPS in half?

Nope, its just bugged testing, they also write this (game messes up with 16 threads). See 4670K vs 4770K for example that HT works.

The GPU difference is brutal. GCN 1.0 and GCN 1.1 fails completely.

Digital Foundry thinks there's a CPU bottleneck in practice when using something like an i3-4130.

I doubt any game could really make use of 16 threads though. 😛

AMD's been working on fixing GCN 1.0/1.1 performance with hotfix drivers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvWaE-3Aseg

even with low end cards they are seeing a CPU bottleneck, in practice this is what I found over the years with my PCs, it's super easy to find CPU bottlenecks with modest cards and adequate settings when you are actually playing the game..

unrealistic settings and short benchmarks, not so much.
