AMD really doing well in DX12. CF users should especially be happy.

gtx1080 is not flying as high as it used to. 1080 Ti launch is imminent :D Must make the gap bigger again ;)

Disappointed by pascal..GTX1070 at 1900Mhz is not faster than 1050Mhz GTX980TI even in dx12 with async compute.

PCgameshardware.de has different results from GameGPU. Shocking!:eek:

And in PCgameshardware.de's review, the NVidia cards do much better, and actually improve from DX12 unlike the GameGPU review. Now I don't know about you guys, but I trust PCgameshardware.de much more than I trust GameGPU. Just look at the benchmark segments between the two websites!

pcgameshardware dont use reference cards.
GTX980TI is there around 20% faster than gamegpu One(1350mhz vs 1050mhz) Thats why on pcgameshardware 980TI is faster than furyx.

Yes, and I agree with that completely. Most people don't buy reference cards (and by people I mean hardware enthusiasts like us), unless they want to use water blocks. Another thing, the GameGPU results have the Pascal cards gaining relatively nothing under DX12 (curiously enough Maxwell gains more from DX12) whereas PCgameshardware.de does show a difference for Pascal.

Well look at that, the old 7970/280x cards can hold their own in DX12 quite well. In CF these would also do well from the looks of it. Amazing considering their age.

would be nice if they also tested games with a slower CPU, specially the cheaper cards on their list (like 1060 and lower)

this is a weird word to use when comparing two things that are basically the same age

Perhaps it is a weird word to use. The GTX 980 Ti and the Fury X are both nearly two years old at this point, which is fairly old in hardware terms. Although it's nothing compared to some of the other cards in that list, which are "ancient." :D

Yeah, seems like "ancient" Hawaii cards are aging quite well with the raise of DX12 ;)

Polaris cards are slightly behind in those tests, let's see if Crimsons 17.2.1 will change something

Good to see relatively good optimized game and there is still room for improvement with few patches down the line. Also its nice to see Nvidia cards also gaining from DX12. I'll try and see if I can demo this game and do some benchmarks with my I5 3330@3GHz and 1060 6GB@2113MHz with 16GB ram.

Sounds like 480 should get ~5% boost from those drivers. Wonder if it changes older cards much.

I just ditched my RX 480 CF configuration but I will still play this game with one

I love how you always downplay GTX1070 by magically stating GTX1070 is running at 1900Mhz over stock boosts vs GTX980Ti running 1050Mhz under stock boosts. And then look at pcgameshardware where GTX1070 at 1950Mhz is dead equal with GTX980Ti at 1342Mhz on DX12.

What are you trying to lie again?

Wow looking great. Surprised at the huge gap between 970 and 390 through, 18% at 1080p. Huge 20% boost from DX12 over DX11 on the 480. Frametimes look very smooth as well on both 480 and 1060

Why would you be surprised? In most newer games the 390 is faster than the 970 and I think in every DX12 game the 390 has had a good lead..often times ahead of the 980.

Fury X shows a massive improvement at 4k, too bad it's not playable at those settings. Since all cards experience an in-line performance drop as resolution increases, I wonder if something isn't rendering right on the Fury X at 4k, which would explain the spike in performance that no other AMD card gets. Also RX 480 and 1060 are tied. Polaris can't take over GP106 even with a bigger DX12 boost.
