i haven't bought a console this generation, but at that price it's really tempting (even if it's without a game)

with price drops and bunch of good games coming out for consoles and pc, it looks to be a fun xmas season...

I still don't see how people think SSMB is actually a good game. I played the hell out of the first one on the 64. I bought SSMB the day it came out for the GC and hated it. Maybe it was the controller layout or something but to me it just kind of sucked.

A couple of weeks ago at Blockbuster we got word that stores will be recieving signage for $99 Gamecubes and $149 Xboxes "just in case" the prices drop as we near the Xmas shopping season.
