Neither...because I have a relatively nice PC, and don't play that many games, anyway. :) Even if I did play more games, I'd never have enough extra money to buy one, since I upgrade my PC all the time :D

Yeah but how many console players are going to fork over the $10-15 per month to actually play FFXI? I mean MMOG's on the PC are still a very infant market. I know its FF and all(I still think FF is way overrated), but I don't see alot of people other than the die hard FF fanbois paying to play a FF game.

i think FF is way overrated too. its gotten so that you're not playing a game, you're interacting in a movie. it is NOT an RPG. (very few games actually are, at that)

Oh I don't know about MMORPG's being in an infant state. Everquest has what, 60,000 paying members? They're even more popular in some countries.

I have an excellent gaming PC, but for a quick and fast game, nothing beats a console. There's a feeling from sitting down and blowing through a city in Crazy Taxi that the PC can't reproduce. Fighthing games are much better on a console as well.

Each unit definatly has its own place.

The only thing that'd keep me from buying an XBox right now would be if Halo was released for the PC at the same time
