Alright, I know the cube has dolby pro logic, but how can I get that out of my normal RCA output cables? Do i need to get a Y adapter for L/R into a miniplug? or is there another cable for me to get?

There are no special cables to get. Dolby Pro Logic II is encoded in the stereo stream (Red & White Cables) and can be decoded only by a Dolby Pro Logic II capable receiver or else you would only listen to regular stereo sound. It is also backward compatible with Dolby Pro Logic v1 (only 4 channel audio). DPLII is different from Dolby Digital 5.1 where audio data is sent digitally over a coaxial or optical output and it haves 5 discrete channels (your dvd has these otuputs) where all iterations of Dolby Pro Logic are just matrixed channels (separation of 2 channel audio).

Ah I've gotcha... I would need a Y splitter though to turn the signal into a minijack, my reciever has the DPL2 capability but it's just a old cambridge soundworks 5.1 set and is built for computers... Thanks for the help!
