Gamecube ROCKS!!!

Goddamn i love this machine. Me and my bro searched around 3 different stores today. At Target, just as I was asking the rep to go call other Targets to see if they had any in stock, this guy returns a brand new BLACK gamecube that hasn't even been open. So i pickup the gamecube and a memory card and head over to Toys R Us to get some controllers and games. Man, NOBODY has SMASH BROTHERS MELEE, the only game that i even saw that looked decent was Luigi's Mansion, so we picked that up. Been playin this game for a couple hours and it is typical Nintendo fun. I am gonna go out tomorrow and pickup Smash Bros. and Rogue Squadron. Any other good games i should know about?

IMO Super Monkey Ball is awesome as well. 10 seconds to learn, god knows how long to master! (I haven't yet)

I went to Circuit City on Christmas eve and they had 4 shelves full of them. I think there was around 20. I was gonna buy one and sell it for $500 on ebay (bwhahahahahha), but if I did buy it, i would not be able to buy a gify for my mom and another gift for my g/f.

I've thought the same as well.... But I always come back to the PC...

Still, I've been thinking about the Xbox - I'm not sure if I want to buy it just for Halo...

i love the simpsons to BUT DO NOT BUY THIS GAME its a piece of garbage. granted i rented it for ps2

its like crazy taxi but minu fun; its amusing for a little bit cauze the characters say funny things and thats it!

rent if u must (waste of money!!!)

If you have any friends at all, you have to get Super Monkey Ball! Nothing better than punching monkeys around a stage. Plus it's like 6 games in one. Monkey Ball, Hang Gliding, Pool, Golf, Boxing and Bowling. Smash Brothers is also a great multiplayer game, but my group of friends play Monkey Ball much more often. I guess we got a bit tired of SSB on the N64.

Yeah, a few of my friends feel this way right after I kick their asses. People who suck at the game hate it.

OK I just made an impulse buy... xboxes all out of stock in my state so I bought a gamecube from amazon with overnigght shipping! damn I better like it ... Hope I dont regret this..

I still can't get over HOW SMALL the machine is. It's so small it's just sweet. It's top/bottom is seriously just a little bit bigger then a CD player. I just need a cool car racing game for the cube now, i'd love a game with similar gameplay to GTA 3. I like just cruising through the cities in my car alot better then racing.

I'm currently playing Luigi's Mansion a second time.. First time took me around 15 hours to beat. I'm practically half way through the game with only 2 hours of play this time around

it rocks with all the old nintendo characters (with a lot of unfamiliar ones making cameo appearances too)

I played 8 hours straight of super smash brothers with my one friend one night... GREAT Game... lots of laughs...
adventure mode is entertaining as well

halo is a fun game as well...

My friend bought his son an XBOX for Xmas and when he plugged in the Dolby Digital it didnt work. I dunno what happened but he works at a stereo shop that sells that kind of stuff so I know he knows what he's doing. Kicker is he cant find the receipt so he's kinda stuck. Hope it works out for him...

Super Monkey Ball is one of the best console games I've ever played.

I and the old lady have spent many many hours on this one. She actually finished Advanced before I did.:disgust:

I've gotten like 2600 or so on 10-round Target.....lotsa FUN!
