I actually liked the 64 controller. It was out there, but it was a nice controller once you got used to it.

As far as the Gamecube controllers being cheap? Yeah they feel different, but they are very hard to break.

When I first got my Wavebird last year I got mad at a game and threw the Wavebird across the room. It bounced off the couch, and hit the brick fireplace pretty hard. Left a small scratch on the controller and it still works great. Thats actually the first time I have done that to any controller, but that one puzzle stage on Mario Sunshine was about to drive me insane.

Ive always had no problem with Nintendo stuff, they seem to make excellent quality items.

its a controller for nintendo type kiddie games, it does its job there well. its not so good for other things😛

imo, gc controller's the best feeling one. only prob comes w/ fighting games like scII; for everything else, its perfect. i love using it on madden and nhl2k3

I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I have a Gamecube and have played PS2 extensively and XBox not so much. IMO, gamecube controller > PS2 controller > XBox controller. To me the button layout on the GC makes a lot of sense (except for the Z button) - it makes it a lot easier for me to remember which button does which, since they all have a distinctive feel to them. I dunno, I'm not a dumb person but I always got the buttons mixed up playing my roommate's PS2. It has the same button layout as a SNES, but the SNES was so much better because two of the buttons were concave and two were convex. I also like the analogs on the GC more than the ones on the PS2 - I think the GC analogs feel "looser" and easier to move accurately.
